Great for purifying the air, Dracaena Compacta is also remarkably drought-tolerant, allowing the plant to go long stretches without water. This lovely succulent garden of echeverias is planted in a classic black ceramic container with contrasting decorative rocks. Place in bright indirect light or a space that receives a few hours of morning sun. Check the soil for dampness once a week. If dry, add about a half cup of water to each plant, keeping in mind that any excess will build up in the bottom and should be avoided. Water should be applied to the soil, not to the plants themselves.
